 Opportunities for the Week

The OVERSEER BOARD will meet this morning at 11:00 in the Library.

 

 All the ladies of the church are invited to a COME AND GO WEDDING SHOWER for Marissa Gathers and Shamar Malone this afternoon at 2:00 pm in the Hearthside Room.

 

Tonight is a POWER TEAM NIGHT. Please come and join the team!

  

The DEACON BOARD will meet tonight at 7:30 pm in the Library.

  

 

  

MEAL DEAL is Wednesday serving from 5:30 – 6:15 pm. This week’s menu will be spaghetti, salad, breadsticks and cheesecake. Meal Deal is for all church and AWANA families for $3 a person or $10 per family.

Wednesday evening will be our AWANA GRAND PRIX. All parents, grandparents and friends are encouraged to come and watch the races. Weigh-in will begin at 5:45 pm (all cars must have passed inspection by 6:15 pm). There will be a racing challenge given to the clubbers in the game room at 6:30 and the races will begin at 6:45 pm.

QUEST (College Bible Study) meets Wednesday evenings at 8:00 at 100 Mary Jane Lane. All Collegians are urged to come. There is great food, fun fellowship and a terrific study.

  

 

 

 

SMALL GROUPS will meet next Sunday night at 6:30. 

 

 

Our church is in charge of the NURSING HOME SERVICE at Alterra Sterling House next Sunday at 2:00 pm. If you can help with this, please let Pastor Brian know.

 

 

 

 

If you missed the 50+ MEETING last week, you still have a chance to give your input. We will meet again Wednesday, February 29^th during Meal Deal beginning at 5:30 pm in Room W-108. We are excited about the things we discussed. If you fall in this age group, please join us.

Carrie Schmidt has resigned as our EARLY CHILDHOOD CHILDREN’S DIRECTOR to spend more time with her family. Stephanie Harris will be the Early Childhood contact person in the interim. Thank you Carrie for the wonderful job you have done! We appreciate your work very much!
